Be one with the stillness of the desert, the power of the horses, the beauty of Petra and with the creative power of yourself.
A
journey through the desert and within the self: reconnect, be inspired
and revived. Sandra Jelly - business woman, artist and horsewoman -
will take you on a unique tour through the beautiful desert of Wadi Rum
and Petra. Based on her experience she guides you during this week and
shares her experience on yoga, meditation, chi gong and natural
horsemanship. The purpose is to live in the moment like the Bedouins of
this desert, to live from a heart orientation that offers you insight,
energy and inspiration.
The
Wadi Rum desert we explore on horseback, Petra we explore by foot. We
camp under the stars and at the end we wash the sands from our skin in
the Red Sea. In order to start the day quietly, focussed and soft we
begin with a short meditation followed by a yoga session. After
breakfast we spend time with the horses, focussing on gaining trust and
leadership remembering the great power of horses to mirror intuitively
our state of being. Thereafter we have time to creatively express
and relax. After lunch we saddle the horses and ride (sometimes in
silence) to our next camp. Length and level of the ride is depending on
the experience of the riders. At our camp we relax till dinner time. We
close the day with a meditation and move to our bed under the desert
stars.
After
we say goodbye to the horses we move to our camp in little Petra, from
there we will discover the site away from the large crowds. Meaning we
will enter the site from the back, starting with a visit to little
Petra, an impressive preview of the things to come. We continue to
start the day with yoga & meditation, so we become fully present
and are able to embrace the amazing beauty and power of Petra. We will
stay overnight in the site and continue the next day exploring the High
Place of Sacrifice, Royal Tombs, Roman Theater and last but not least
the infamous Treasury. Through the natural, high walled Siq we leave
this special place and return to our camp where a bbq awaits us. On
saturday, after breakfast, we will move southwards to Aqaba to the
charming Bedouin Moon or Garden Village on the South Beach of Aqaba, a
perfect place to relax, snorkle or dive (optional). After a last
morning yoga session with views over the red sea and surrounding
mountains we say our goodbyes and return home.

A
spiritual journey through the desert and your inner world guided by the
experienced shaman Irma ten Brink. You will explore the stillness of
the Wadi Rum desert on horseback, learn to connect to the intuitive
power of the horses, discover the beauty of Petra by foot and during
shamanic rituals. You will sleep under the stars and enjoy the vibrant
colors of the Red Sea. There is no fixed day plan, you will be in the
moment, surrender to what is and what presents itself. It is a journey
that will increase your awareness, reconnect you to your creative
powers, increase your inspiration and possibly will transform your
life.
During
the Shamanic Horsework journey we will stay four days with the horses
